Roman camp Gračine

The ancient locality Gračine is situated in the flat plateau above the left bank of the Trebižat river, in the area of village Humac, 2 km southwest from Ljubuški.

The elevation of plateau is about 75 m, approximately 10 m higher than watercourse of the Trebižat river. Teritory of Gračine laids out on 4 hectares. Herzegovinian Schematism of fra Petar Bakula from 1867. states Gradčine in Humac where walls of ancient buildings with abundant remainds of stone work, bricks and tile are visible, as well as remains of the Roman bridge and road with milestones.
